About this event
Travel back in time to experience what it was like to be a young apprentice printer. Learn about Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the printing press, and how newspapers, books and posters were created before the arrival of today’s computers.
Discover what printing has to do with the Titanic, the Irish Easter Rising, and various sayings that we still use today. Hand-set your name and print a poster to take home, and make your very own printer’s hat!
Tues - Thurs 14:00 - 15:00, July & August.
Readers are advised to check with the venue before relying on the details published here.
