Howth Hooks & Reels Samhain Festival 2025

Thursday, 16 October 2025 - Thursday, 30 October 2025
About this event
Three evenings of stories and song to celebrate Halloween in the Abbey Tavern in Howth. Writers from far and wide are invited to submit their work - non-fiction stories of around 800 words on the themes of mischievousness, intrigue, and enigma in celebration of Samhain. Training with the mic is included, so nobody should be shy. Each one is a wonderful night for everyone involved. MC for the final night (30th October) is national broadcaster and author Dearbhail McDonald.
Thursdays 16, 23 & 30 October from 7pm
